Grant Wasylik
Originally from Pennsylvania, Grant graduated from Juniata College with an economics major and accounting minor.
Since graduation, Grant has worked in the investment industry for almost two decades by serving in various roles …
Prior to coming to Uncommon Wisdom Daily, Grant was the chief analyst and co-editor of The Palm Beach Letter for two years. This monthly publication — with over 70,000 subscribers — focused on safe, income-oriented investments. While there, he also co-authored the book The Big Black Book of Income Secrets with Tom Dyson, Mark Ford, and Stan Haithcock.
Before the newsletter business, Grant worked as a portfolio manager, lead research analyst, and head trader for a billion-dollar wealth manager for 10 years. He also spent a few years working in a specialized risk-trading department at Charles Schwab — where he was the first-ever, external hire into this elite department. In Grant’s first stint in the securities business (after passing Series 7, 64, and 24 exams), he ran a margin department and later supervised a trade desk for a discount brokerage firm.
Due to his vast investment experience, Grant has a deep contact list of 400-plus mutual fund, ETF, index, hedge fund, and other top-notch financial professionals at his fingertips. In addition, he receives special invitations to — and attends — several of the world’s top investments conferences each year. He is also a regular contributor to ETFDailyNews.com.
Grant lives in South Florida with his wife and two children.
