Money and Markets: Investing Insights

From Martin: My new video is online NOW!

Martin D. Weiss, Ph.D. | Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 7:30 am

The U.S. Federal Reserve has now promised to CONTINUE printing $85 billion every month practically until hell freezes over — until the stubborn, hellish unemployment in the U.S. goes away.

Japan has just announced that it’s going to DOUBLE that bet! That’s right. Adjusted for the size of its economy, Japan is now printing the equivalent of DOUBLE what the Fed is printing — the equivalent of $190 billion per month.

Just this week, the European Central Bank has announced it’s joining the club.

And very soon, at the Bank of England, with new, more aggressive money printers taking the helm, they are ALSO about to jump on the same bandwagon.

This is why I’ve just recorded a new, 7-minute video message for you about three urgent topics:

  • This great global transformation now taking place changing the financial world as we know it — right before our eyes.

  • The single, absolutely essential ingredient that must be included in all your investment strategies to succeed in this new environment …

  • The one big downside risk that you should never forget — and how to protect yourself from it.

  • Four simple steps to profit in this strange new environment.

This short video is not about any product or service. Nor is it an invitation of any kind.

It’s simply my way of thanking you for your continuing loyalty as a reader — by communicating to you directly, with the conviction and feeling that the printed word alone cannot convey.

Click here and I will tell you more in the video.

Good luck and God bless!

Martin

Sell in May and Go Away? Not So Fast
by Mike Burnick

It’s a well worn adage on Wall Street to “sell in May and go away.” But is there any truth to this piece of trading conventional wisdom … or is it unwise advice? The answer depends a great deal on your chosen time frame.

The Dow/Gold Breakout …
by Larry Edelson

For a couple of years now I’ve maintained my view that the Dow Industrials and broad U.S. equity markets were entering a new bull market. One of the tools I used to come to that conclusion back in 2008 was the ratio of the Dow Industrials to the price of gold.
