Sean Brodrick just calls ’em like he sees ’em. And that’s what?s got the attention of gasoline gurus around the globe.
Because Brodrick, who was one of the first to correctly predict four dollar a gallon gasoline is now raising his prediction, again. ?Over the next 18-months, five dollars a gallon at the pump would not surprise me at all,? says the researcher with Jupiter-based Weiss Research.
Brodrick says he was basing his latest prediction on slower production in Mexico, and increased demand from Asia. Then, he said something that really made heads turn. In his worst case scenario, meaning in the event of another war, a terrorist attack, or a plunging US dollar, gas prices could be twice that.
