If you thought we’d be coasting into the long holiday weekend this week, think again. The employment situation report for June will be released on Thursday – a day earlier than usual – along with the International Trade report and jobless claims. A few other data releases are scattered throughout the week, and Janet Yellen will be speaking on Wednesday to an IMF conference in Washington.
All markets will be closed on Friday, and the New York Stock Exchange will close at 1 p.m. on Thursday ahead of the July 4 celebration.
