I think, the first: Securing the nation’s borders….

lee Monday, December 5, 2016 at 9:35 am

Get rid of all the riff raff illegals obama brought here and secure the borders to keep them from coming back. Then repeal the malice driven obamacare. Imprison both bill n hillary then the obamas. Remove special interest from elections.

D Monday, December 5, 2016 at 10:47 pm

Actually, between 2010 and 2014, Obama deported 2.5 million illegal immigrants, those who entered the country legally but whose visas had expired.

However, Obama has, like every president since LBJ and Nixon, has turned a blind eye to illegal entrants. Then you add on top the poorly-thought-out refugee admissions push. The refugees from the Syria civil war could have been handled much better. But the Syria disaster is a big embarrassment for Obama, and he wants to distract people.

I’m not an Obama supporter and, in fact, consider the media’s ignoring of this big story (in contrast to the hysteria surrounding Trump) a big scandal.

Dick Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 4:39 pm

You mean like Russia?

Thomas Schechter Monday, December 5, 2016 at 8:21 am

Russia may see the war with Ukraine as just retaking a secessionist area, like the South in the US Civil War. Not only was exd\pansion of NATO unjustified, but after the fall of the Russian empire, NATO had no raison d’etre. Since the US has openly stated they want to depose Assad in Syria, and was arming the rebels to do so, what would you expect Assad to do, meekly agree to be assassinated?

Paul Harsch Monday, December 5, 2016 at 10:54 am

Seems to me a valid response from Russia’s perspective to being increasingly hemmed in on their eastern flank. They feel threatened of course by “western expansion and aggression” and their support of Assad is one small foothold in the world where they saw opportunity and again, from their perspective, necessity.
If reason and trust were paramount, instead of the constant push and shove of politics and aggression, we might do better as a world overall.

robert Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 2:48 pm

the expansion of NATO provides markets for USA made weapons systems, maybe we could sell them the old ENTERPRISE ,OR SOME B52S

George Monday, December 5, 2016 at 8:29 am

Hi Martin”!
I live in Hong Kong, a very fast-moving city.
Life’s too short to listen to your and members of your team’s videos.
If you don’t provide a written transcript as an alternative, I refuse to listen.
Most reputable publications provide such transcripts so the subscriber has a choice to listen to slow monotonous drawls or quickly read/scan a transcript.
Sorry if it sounds harsh….but I do wonder how many of your subscribers get frustrated with your videos, which cannot even be fast forwarded.
Regards, George

Dean Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 2:22 pm

I agree. I am upset at the fact that at times the only way to receive desired info. Is to listen to a vedio. At times they are exceptionally long although they keep falsely telling us that we are nearing the end. At times I just have to leave without listening all the way to the end. When I have only a limited amount of time to listen I have to just stop listening. Also, at times I would like to go back to a certain spot to reread information. This will not stop them from using video only in many circumstances though.

Eva Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 6:08 pm

I agree with George from HK. I also prefer to read text and do not have much time for videos.

Max Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 4:29 pm

I agree because I’m almost deaf.

Chuck Burton Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 10:20 am

Aye-aye, George! I despise video interviews, and wait for transcripts, or just ignore them entirely. I don’t have time to waste an hour or more listening to clap-trap in hopes of maybe getting one nugget of real info. Usually the videos are so boring that, even if there is a nugget somewhere, I miss it, anyhow.

Denise Monday, December 5, 2016 at 8:42 am

Putin & Russian officials cheered when Trump won, why would they want to go to war with us now?

Chuck Burton Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 10:27 am

The election of Clinton would have meant war almost immediately. Trump may talk about increasing the military, but if it comes to a choice of military or infrastructure, he knows which is really more needed by this nation. We are so behind the times, it isn’t funny.

Dick Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 4:41 pm

This is their new form of WAR

Justin Monday, December 5, 2016 at 8:43 am

Obama’s financial bubble is about to burst. Newscasters will attribute it to some coincident news event, but it is already engineered to happen. That will lead to worldwide emotional distress, and that irrationality will lead to unwise decisions by world leaders and the world’s populations.

Howard Monday, December 5, 2016 at 8:52 am

Hi Martin

I have absolutely no faith in what our newspapers have to say, particularly the NYT. I get most of my informed news from internet searches. The only use for the print medium is the financial pages. Nowhere on DJT’s promises has he indicated any problems with Putin. I know Larry is following the war cycles but I just don’t see a war between us and Russia at the moment. No one would win it.

Joan Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 9:15 am

You’d better bless the NYT, so essential to our democracy for it to function. They and WaPo published the Truth about Watergate that sent Nixon packing. They let you know Trump never paid taxes. Don’t fall for that Trump garbage. He kept Hitler’s speeches on his bedstand. He knows democracy needs the oxygen of a free press. So think for yourself and don’t fall for that attack on the Fourth Estate.

Howard Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 7:02 am

Joan

It’s a pity about HRC and I know the press were on her side?

Dick Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 4:42 pm

Trump is garbage

Edouard D'Orange Sunday, December 11, 2016 at 9:05 am

The attack is not on the whole media, just the dishonest, biased media. How honest can the media be when about 95% of so-called journalists are leftist democraps? Thank God for the independent people who ferret out some truths. The people have spoken in the elections and rejected most of the media.

Drhome Sunday, December 11, 2016 at 1:07 pm

You forgot the part about Hillary originally wanting Miley Cyrus to run as VP with her. Ok, Im very interested to see Trumps quotes about Hitler and his quotes by his bedside. And the backup to prove what the media says about Trump being a racist or ??? Dont listen to what the papers or media say. You do have a brain, so look for the crap yourself, then let us all know when you find it and show us. You will discover like I did, the media says anything they want to program people like you and I

robert Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 3:07 pm

RUSSIA is the only thing between CHINESE hordes and the PLAINS OF MEGIDO and
the BATTLE OF ARMEGEDDON,currently CHINA is ” mining for gold” in AFGAN,and
constructing the”SILK ROAD” FOR TRADE WITH THE WEST,THEY PREPARING A
INVASION ROUTE TO ISREAL AND THE MIDDLE EAST,THEY COULD EASILY ABSORB
20 MILL CASUALTIES AND REACH THIER OBJECTIVE.The last natural barrier against
TANKS is the EUPHRATES ,and it is drying up.The current cooperation between CHINA,RUSSIA,AND IRAN INDICATE THAT RUSSIA WILL OCCUPY THE USA WHILE IRAN ALLOWS SINO FORCES TO ROLL THROUGH THEIR WIDE OPEN PLAINS PERFECT FOR TANK MOVEMENT

Dick Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 4:43 pm

You are dreaming

Chuck Burton Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 10:38 am

This morning on CBS, they spent at least ten minutes raving about how Russia influenced the vote for President. Did YOU pay any attention to what Putin or Russia had to say before you went to the polls? So much for our ultra-liberal media, which didn’t get it’s way in the election, and now will do it’s best to derail Trump. They WANT war with Russia, and Clinton’s election would have guaranteed it.

ogden swearingen Monday, December 5, 2016 at 8:57 am

The USA dollar financial fall

JD Monday, December 5, 2016 at 9:59 am

Fortunately, the US Gov’t is not required to do things serially, so there’s no need to pick ONE most important thing. Second, there is still the issue of mutually assured destruction and dealing with rational actors (vs Islamic terrorists). So, I don’t believe a nuclear war with Russia is any more likely now than it used to be especially since we are getting out from under a weak (and that’s being kind) administration. The wildcard is those with nukes and are they willing to funnel them to terrorist nutballs to do their bidding for them.

Miguel H. Gans Monday, December 5, 2016 at 10:34 am

I think Trump´s first action would be securing the Nation´s borders.

Dick Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 4:46 pm

Trump is Russia’s secret weapon .
With Rex Ts help.

thank you Monday, December 5, 2016 at 11:25 am

when will you be presenting part II ? president elect trump has pretty much back peddled on every one of his promises even before he takes office. i am a history major and russian
history was a big part of that degree. that was 30 years ago and to date i have never understood the dis-connect between the west and the east. however, with that being said it looks more and more like the fools in charge of the industrial military complex want war with these people. i look forward to your next message and hope i won’t have to wait to long. will trump back down or won’t he ?

Bonnie E Monday, December 5, 2016 at 11:26 am

Still awaiting the long-predicted pull-back in the markets, and all-the-while, the markets continue to soar!! ….DJIA hitting new all-time highs today!!……Cycle inversion??

Don’t worry the Fed will soon give it to us.

Obama deported more than any other President.

Cadent D. Allvice Monday, December 5, 2016 at 12:22 pm

As the EU goes, so does NATO… Russia needs only to secure it’s borders in the meantime as she waits.

Amceey Monday, December 5, 2016 at 1:06 pm

Passing legislation to rebuild the country’s infrastructure is one of his trump card. Donald Trump is a businessman. He will use his business skill to get this done. Why? Simply because this is the only one issue that will not irritate anyone.

Dick Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 4:50 pm

He hasn’t kept a promise so far .
The only wall he has built is his wall of lies.

Fred Gibson Monday, December 5, 2016 at 2:13 pm

In my opinion, the United States has been committing war crimes right and left for years. If what we are doing isn’t war crimes, what else can anyone call it? I certainly didn’t vote for anyone to lead us into war, and I am outraged that any of the fools in Washington are committing the provocations against Russia and China that are likely to lead us into war either hot or cold. Can we have a printed copy of both of Martin’s films to study in detail? When we first got involved in Ukraine, I went to the library and researched the history of that country. We had absolutely no business in Ukraine, and I can’t understand why there is not an international uprising in protest against our whole Middle East foreign policy. I am America’s most patriotic man, but in my opinion, our war hawks are no better than traitors and criminals. Am I the only one who feels that way?

Al McNal Monday, December 5, 2016 at 8:49 pm

NO, read the above. I think everyone responding has the same idea.
Of course Russia is making a big scene. America has been too aggressive. It’s wars are nonsense promoted through lies. Like pretty much everything else they have done over the last 20 years it borders on idiocy.

Reagle Moss Monday, December 5, 2016 at 5:26 pm

Why does Putin like Trump?

a. Because he thinks he is a push over?
b. He will be less likely to interfere with Russia’s expansion plans?
c. He may abandon Nato?

Dick Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 4:53 pm

Most likely correct.

Batres, Anthony Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 8:31 am

These are excellent responses to complex problems. China steals out tech, floods the market with knock-offs, expands its territory illegally, floods us with illegals, manipulates its currency, threatens to call our bonds it holds and then goes ballistic over a phone call to Mr Trump. We are so used to bowing to this country that they are like a Trojan horse. They are here running the show but we don’t know it.

Dick Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 4:59 pm

Grow up . We buy the cheap junk that is
sold to us by our business men like trump.
Check out those who worked for him ,of which
he never paid , mostly illegals .

Joan Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 9:09 am

TrumpADoodleDo needs first to become acquainted with the TRUTH. He doesn’t even seem to have a tangential relationship with it. I’d put that as Numero Uno. To lead, people need to believe the leader. Truthiness would be good here. Good luck to us all. When Trump says Ben Carson is “pathological” and offers him a job anyway, we’ve got a problem, Houston.

Tim reddington Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 10:53 am

Joan you wouldn’t know the truth if it slapped you in the face, the NYT are a joke covering every lie hitlary has told, they don’t even deny it. The Clintons make Nixon look like a kindergartener. The Clintons have left an amazing trail of dead people no matter how you look at it going all the way back to Vince Foster, but hey that’s ok cause they are “democrats”. I personally don’t believe any of em

David Perkins Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 9:26 am

Finally a comment I actually agree with!

John Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 8:15 pm

Trump and the truth??? You’ve got your ideological wires crossed. The Clinton’s wouldn’t recognize the truth if it hit them in the face! Get real.

j. harvey Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 10:38 am

Did you mean TRUTHFULNESS, like that exhibited by 0- bama?

R J Boots Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 1:25 am

First, the quickies: 1) reduce the corp. tax rate and begin the long process of repatriating the cash stash to the US
2) eliminate the tax penalty for people that can’t afford gov. healthcare.
3) freeze gov hiring

Not so quickies: 1) secure the borders and implement an equitable plan to first get rid of illegals with criminal history, and make a way for desirable illegals to become legal
2) rebuild the military…..not so we can go start something, but so no one will consider starting something with us.
3) freeze gov hiring, and begin simplification of tax law, and regulations on business, especially family-owned/small businesses.
4) replace Obamacare with a free market, competitive health care system, that requires acceptance of pre-existing conditions.
Thanks for the video Martin. You’ve got more negative know-it-alls than I would have expected responding to your video. It is excellent. The MSM would never share the truth with us, even if they know it. I appreciate your perspective and honesty. When are the next to videos coming???

Dick Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 5:02 pm

You are dreaming if you think will do that .
He owes Russia Buillions, that’s with a b .
Why would you think he wouldn’t show his taxes?

Charles Z Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 8:20 pm

Hi Martin,
The first thing Trump should do is to re-build the broken bridges left behind in his electoral campaign and become a worthy U.S. president. He should hear his advisors and not act on his own, specially in the economic and the security.
I fully agree with RJ Boots and would also add
5) cancel the U.S. – Mexico wall concept. This sounds like a Nazi solution and will not solve the problem. Illegal alliens should be deported to their respective Countries rather than sending all of them to the southrn neighbour (32% of those alliens are not Mexicans).
6) Understand NAFTA’s balances for U.S. economy and act accordingly. There are more jobs in the U.S. due to NAFTA and the economic balance is on the U.S. side by 7%. The majority of the jobs lost in the last decade are due to authomation, not due to free trade.
7) Defend U.S. economy from the Chinese products. Chinese government owns 30% of every industry in China and they subsidize most of their exports to make them competitive. Steel is a very good example, where Chinese exports are below the production cost.

Chuck Burton Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11:01 am

The Berlin Wall didn’t work very well for the communists, and the Mexican Wall won’t work for this country. It would be better to give illegals in this country the chance to train for better jobs and to become tax paying residents, so long as they avoid criminal behavior beyond that of their entry. Do you realize that all those restrictions on immigration are just the creation of politicians and bureaucrats for their own benefit, and to justify their positions? Until a couple of centuries ago, there were few restrictions on peoples’ movements, and they went freely from country to country almost everywhere. Politicians and bureaucrats hate freedom though, and work against it everywhere.

James A Zurlo Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 7:47 am

After reading several of the above comments, I find it hard to disagree with any of them. It looks like our president elect has a very full plate to deal with. Given the proper support from his party leadership, I think he will get the job done very nicely and we will be the country we all love.

Mike Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 7:58 am

There is no perfect administration but Yrump will be spending most of his time correcting Obama’s poor decisions.
So write off the first 4 years
It will be the next term he will be able to make America Geat Again

Chuck Burton Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 8:03 pm

Will there be a second term? Look at the second terms of Clinton, G.W. Bush and Obama. Wouldn’t we have been better off if we had dumped them after one try? No politician should ever be given more than one shot, or we will all pay the price.

Jerry McDonough Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11:02 am

It all begins with securing the Nation. Nothing else is possible without security.

ed the grocer Sunday, December 11, 2016 at 12:26 am

The resetting of the World bank vote on January 1. if the BRICS gain a veto then there will be a persistent trend which will alter the value of the USD. The US will not be able to print its way out of debt and maybe the rate of rejection of the USD as a reserve currency will dramatically accelerate. The world and the US will be flooded with currency with no where to go except to explode all stock, commodity, and bond prices. Trump must convince the FED to redirect debt into ridiculously expensive American infrastructure. It could be done by massive privatizing and widespread upgrades.

ed the grocer Sunday, December 11, 2016 at 12:50 am

I wrote my comment and then I watched your video. I hope that you will reconsider your statements about Russia. Russia’s single move to secure their long term sea access in an area populated by ethnic Russians can never be compared to American world wide warmongering. In case you were on holidays you may not have noticed that America has flattened most of the Middle East. Yes it may be simply a process to bury Islam but there are easier ways to marginalize peoples. Possibly you are sitting too close to your religion. Step away and reconsider.

Chuck Burton Sunday, December 11, 2016 at 10:41 am

Most important politicians and leaders, worldwide, are part of a loosely affiliated group that some call the “Deep State”. Many don’t even know they belong, perhaps including even such leaders as Putin, Merkel, Xi, Obama, Clinton and Trump, but they are more or less gently guided to follow the principles of that group. Those principles include ever greater government control of private lives and endeavors, leading eventually to a world government – or should I say, Dictatorship – which controls everything, and tells everyone how to live their lives. There are no racial or religious restrictions on belonging to that group, but not belonging – not following, in general, the principles of that group – means eventual banishment to the worst conditions of human life. Of course, the eventual achievement of those goals doesn’t sound too good either.
