U.S. markets are closed today, to give investors the opportunity to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday.
And so, on this day of thanks, as you take a well-deserved break from the markets to enjoy the day with your friends and family, we wanted to send you a quick message to let you know that you are at the top of the list when we reflect on all we have to be thankful for here at Money and Markets.
Our editors are at home celebrating the holiday, and there will not be a morning or afternoon edition today. Mike Larson’s regular column will return tomorrow morning, but there won’t be an afternoon edition on Friday.

To Martin and the Money Markets team all the best . It`s always great to read you . A few years ago as a member i once made a gain of 15.000 dollar in just ten days. Later a bit enthusiastic i lost it. Now I am retired and live with a modest pension very happy in the north of Chile . I always read you news letter. Especially I enjoyed to read Martin´s report on his trip around the world. . May God bless you all on this Thanksgiving day and let´s pray and put all the energy for peace in this world .

Can you please tell me if we are in a Gold Bull Run?? You have Jim Rickards saying it could soar to 10000 oz. BUT, DENT Research saying it` will tank to 750 oz. WHICH IS IT?
Yes which is it? Had I sold some of my gold holdings in late June early July or even into September I would have had a profit of at least $2500 but I did nothing but watch as it fell hoping or believing it was a temporary correction and the bull run would continue but it never did. And before I knew it half and now nearly all my profit is gone and I can’t believe I let this happen. Am I the only idiot this happened to?
Gold will not soar if the dollar is strong. Watch MONEX. Personally I like the 1.000 oz silver bars.
