For the second straight month, Palm Beach County had the sharpest decline
in existing home sales among the state’s 20 metropolitan areas.
Sales fell a whopping 53 percent in September. There were 566 homes sold last
month, down from 1,202 a year ago. Prices also have fallen on an annual basis
two months in a row after three years of steady increases.
