Good morning from Singapore! Actually, it’s just after 9 p.m. here … and man … am I having a ball!
No, I’m not talking about nighttime follies. I’m not even talking about the wonderful spicy crab I just ate.
My idea of real fun is visiting great companies with the potential to make you a not-so-small fortune.
I’ll tell you more about the Singapore companies on Tuesday. Right now, let me tell you about the companies I picked out on my last trip to Asia — companies which are already beginning to go gangbusters and already making investors a not-so-small fortune.
Some of my favorites are based in the Hsinchu Science Park, a government-sponsored technology Mecca spread out over 1,500 acres … costing $1.7 billion just in the initial investment … with 43,000 engineers … and six government-sponsored superlabs.
Hsinchu Park is like Silicon Valley. Is it better than Silicon Valley? Not really. But it’s a heck of a lot cheaper.
The work ethic of the typical worker would blow most Americans away: 10-12 hour workdays/6 days a week is the norm … for an average salary of about $1,830 a month, a fraction of the U.S. equivalent.
And that’s despite science and math educations that significantly surpass most U.S. education systems. Result:
The tech companies here are getting far more science and engineering bang for their buck.
That’s even without the government-financed research! And the government’s commitment to technology that has given Hsinchu Science Park some of the largest, most prosperous, most impressive companies in the world. For example:
One of the largest flat panel display manufacturers on the planet is headquartered here with 24,000 employees in a 12-story complex.
But it looks tiny compared to a global semiconductor company located nearby — a corporate campus which is the biggest I’ve seen in my life, covering dozens of city blocks.
Overall, more than FOUR HUNDRED vibrant, fast-growing companies call Hsinchu City home … easily the largest concentration of high-tech companies anywhere outside of the sprawling Silicon Valley itself.
A big strategic advantage: Hsinchu was able to repatriate thousands of citizens who had immigrated to the U.S. and were working in Silicon Valley … a reverse brain drain that had helped make the U.S. the world’s high-tech leader.
You’ve probably never heard of most of these companies. But neither have most people — which is another reason the time to strike is NOW.
This is huge, and it mandates urgent action. So to help you jump on these opportunities, I’ve just updated my series of SIX Raging Profit Reports.
In each one, I name what I believe to be THE low-priced, soon-to-be superstar companies from Hsinchu and across Asia that are already making early investors wealthier … AND could make you a not-so-small fortune in the next 1 to 3 years.
Raging Profit Report #1
A Wireless Company About To
Enter a Period Of Spectacular Growth.
In my first Raging Profit Report, I introduce you to one of the most lucrative business models you will ever see in your lifetime. It’s the largest company in its industry and has a dominant market share of the rapidly-growing Chinese wireless market.
This company has grown its top line by an extremely impressive 30% compounded rate of return since going public in 2000 while profits have increased by 28%.
Here’s the best part: In spite of growing like a weed, this company has a very low 13% debt-to-equity ratio, has $8 billion in the bank, and pays a 66-cent annual dividend (2.3%).
Everything tells me this gem is one of THE most profitable ways to participate in the Chinese growth miracle. Aim for at least a triple within three years!
Raging Profit Report #2
How to Cash in Early With a New Technology
That Will Change Cell Phones Forever.
In my second Raging Profit Report, I name a relatively unknown, up-and-coming leader in near field communication. This is a well-established technology that’s about to change the way we use our cell phones.
The technology is actually quite simple: It uses encrypted radio frequency. And it does so over very short ranges. The goal: To connect wireless devices with electronic devices. PCs. A cell phone. Other consumer electronics.
Consider this application: You go to a university campus. Could be anywhere in the world: Ohio State, Harvard, Cambridge or your local community college. You want to register for classes. So you just enter the choice in your cell phone. Then you hold it up to a registration terminal, press a button and you’re done.
You can use the same cell phone to open locked doors on campus … pay for your food at the cafeteria … buy books and supplies at the campus bookstore … get a drink from a vending machine … or qualify for special student discounts at local movie theatres, restaurants and shops.
Is this dream application still far away? Not at all! In fact, it’s already alive and kicking on Asian campuses.
But near field communication is more than a great technology: I believe it will be one of the biggest investment opportunities of the decade. And the company that I’m looking at is light years ahead of the rest of the wireless world.
It sells for approximately 15 times earnings, has a low 23% debt-to-equity ratio, pays close to a 2% dividend, and has recently dropped a bit in price to a level that I think is really attractive.
Raging Profit Report #3
Dirt Cheap Billion-Dollar Giant in Semiconductors
Trading at Just 13 Times Earnings.
The Taiwan-based semiconductor support player whose revenues soared from zero to $1.3 billion in less than 4 years!
Raging Profit Report #4
One of the Biggest Winners of the China Growth Miracle.
This diversified industrial manufacturer is on the cusp of seeing its profits explode!
The company makes products used in the movement, treatment, storage, and enjoyment of water. It’s selling for only 15 times and 12 times 2006 estimates — peanuts for a company that grew its profits by 40% last year. On top of that, you’ll receive an attractive annual dividend.
Raging Profit Report #5
Sizzling Internet Security Blockbuster.
The Tokyo-based maker of anti-virus and Internet security tools that captured Tech Data’s “Best Solution†award and increased its year-end dividend payout by more than 30%.
Raging Profit Report #6
Aim for a Quick Double with the Ultimate Chip Tester.
Profits are skyrocketing as increasingly complex chips come on stream that are taking twice as long to test! Meet the testing company that almost every chipmaker begs for.
No B.S. No Maybes.
My Raging Profit Reports are not long-winded puff-pieces. They’re designed to give you everything you need to help you make money quickly and nothing more. No “maybe-this-maybe-that†waffle phrases some guys like to use to protect their you-know-whats. No B.S.
Each Raging Profit Report is valued at $50 — the complete set of six at $300.
But I want you to have them at no cost whatsoever — as my “thank-you†for a risk-free test drive of my brand new, online-only service, Asia Stock Alert.

Plus, in addition to the companies I name in my Raging Profit Reports, I’ll be giving you a rich stream of thoroughly researched recommendations that most American investors will probably never hear about.
I’ll show you the safest and most profitable ways to …
Capitalize on China’s
Construction Craze
You’ve probably seen the pictures of the Three Gorges Dam project. That gigantic undertaking cost $25 billion, but it’s just a drop in the bucket when you consider the massive construction spending going on in China right now.
Some companies are making a mountain of money building all these projects and I’ll show you exactly what to buy and when in Asia Stock Alert.
Another powerful investment area that I’m watching closely …
Companies Catering to
Cargo and Containers
China has become the manufacturing center of the world. It doesn’t matter if you’re talking about toys, shirts, shoes, flat screen T.V.s or iPods.
Each of these items has to be shipped to its final destination.
I’ve looked at the books of some of the Chinese companies that are moving these goods, and the best ones are raking in money hand over fist. When it comes to China today, the cargo transportation business holds a rich vein of profits.
When the timing is right, we’ll strike!
And mark my words: We’re going to go for the profits that could make a killing if you get on the China train right now from a major new trend. I call it …
The Rise of the Chuppies!
Whenever I travel to Asia, I’m amazed at the lines snaking out of Starbucks … the throngs of young ladies carrying Louis Vuitton handbags … and the sheer number of cell phones in use.
This activity isn’t from tourists. It’s from Chinese yuppies, or “Chuppies,†a new generation of upwardly mobile, urban, middle-class Chinese consumers. There are roughly 100 million of them right now, and their numbers should double by 2010.
They’re hungry for electronic gadgets, appliances, personal care products, clothing, travel, and designer products, and they’re buying them up like crazy!
That’s why I spend time at shopping malls and busy retail streets like Nathan Road in Hong Kong or Nanjing Road in Shanghai. I’m busy finding out what items the Chuppies are buying, and buying the stocks behind the best companies that make those products. All of the research I give you is boots on the ground intelligence.
Now that you’ve had a sneak preview of what I’ll be covering regularly in my Asia Stock Alert, consider this …
