Money and Markets Economic and Company Calendar May 12-16
It’s going to be another busy week, with a number of potentially market-moving items on the calendar, from economic data including Housing Starts, Industrial Production and the Consumer Price Index, to a speech by Fed Chair Janet Yellen and earnings reports.
Retail sales for April will be reported on Tuesday after a group of chain stores last week said sales for that month jumped 6.4 percent, the biggest gain in almost three years, and a number of big-box retailers report first-quarter earnings this week, including Wal-Mart and Macy’s.
