Many analysts and investors think mining shares have bottomed. Not Larry Edelson. In his Monday article, Larry gave three solid arguments supporting his point of view that there soon will be new lows.

Back in the summer of 2011, the sequestration deal was represented as a real act of fiscal responsibility. In reality, it was just another replay of the Washington fraud. In the latest podcast, Ron Paul and Charles Goyette discussed the upcoming debt debate in Congress.

If you follow the bond market, you may be familiar with the saying: “Bond guys catch things before stock guys do.” What is the credit market saying about the stock market right now? Douglas Davenport gave an answer in his column.

The recent downward stock market trend might have investors worried. What should their response be? Bill Hall gave two reasons why the S&P 500 dropped, and he shared what investors should be paying attention to in order to profit.

Now that stocks have fallen every week this year, the question has become: How do we prepare for the possibility that equities may continue to slide in February and even March? Don Lucek recommended a sector and a few stocks for your consideration that could make for sound investment.

Following the latest Fed meeting, Mike Larson believes policymakers will continue tapering the QE program, which will have widespread and severe ramifications for the markets. The question is, are you ready for a massive shifts in rates?

Recently, Mike Burnick pointed to some forces that might continue to lift stocks in 2014. Last week, in order to provide a balanced assessment, he went on to consider what could go wrong with the stock market.

Google’s latest acquisitions of little-known companies producing gadgets of the future suggest that the smart-home concept might soon become reality. Seeking out other interesting little-known companies in the market, the Money and Markets’ Team came across one pearl.

To conclude the business week, Mike Larson analyzed the possible impact of the Fed’s tapering decision on your personal finance and portfolio. To find out what to prepare for, read his Friday column.
